Perched in the hills of Lahug, Cebu City, the Holy Family Retreat House has been a sanctuary of prayer, reflection, and renewal since its founding in 1969. For decades, it has welcomed clergy, religious, lay faithful, and especially young people seeking a quiet space to deepen their relationship with God.

Surrounded by breathtaking views of the metropolitan center, Mactan Island, nearby islands, and hills, the retreat house offers an atmosphere of calm that gently draws visitors into rest and contemplation:

  • At the entrance of the retreat house stands the Holy Family Chapel that nurture both communal and personal prayer. This chapel serves as a sacred space for liturgical celebrations.
  • A smaller, more intimate chapel located on the third floor invites moments of silence and personal encounter with God.
  • Its three-story main building provides comfortable guest rooms designed to accommodate retreatants.
  • A spacious conference hall and several function rooms create ideal spaces for gatherings, formation programs, and community events.
  • The grounds also feature open green spaces, a basketball court, and a tennis court—places where recreation and fellowship flourish alongside spiritual growth.

Over the years, the Holy Family Retreat House has become a preferred destination for schools, seminaries, clergy, and religious communities conducting retreats, recollections, and assemblies. Through the Redemptorist Retreat Ministry, it continues to shape hearts and inspire lives dedicated to faith and mission.
