Province of Cebu

New seal of the Redemptorist Province of Cebu, made official in February 2026.

The Redemptorists of the Province of Cebu are an apostolic community of missionary brothers and priests, united by their religious vows and a shared commitment to living out the Gospel. Inspired by their founder, Saint Alphonsus Liguori, they dedicate their lives to bringing the message of redemption to all—especially to the poor, the marginalized, and the most abandoned, whom they are called to serve. Guided by faith, the Redemptorists journey throughout the Visayas and Mindanao, with their Provincial House in Cebu City.

Aside from Cebu City, Redemptorist communities of the province are in Tacloban City, Dumaguete City, Davao City, Iloilo-Bacolod Cities, and Iligan City. From these places, missionaries are sent to various dioceses to respond to the pastoral and spiritual needs of the Church in both rural and urban areas. Their work includes parish missions, evangelization programs, social outreach, and Icon missions—all aimed at nurturing faith, fellowship, and the spiritual growth of the communities they serve.

Faithful to their calling, the Redemptorists continue to walk with God’s people, proclaiming the abundance of His love and redemption. With Him is plentiful redemption.
