The Redemptorist Community and family of the late Fr. Amado Picx Picardal, C.Ss.R. gathered at Carreta Cemetery last May 29, 2025, to offer prayers for Fr. Picx on his first death anniversary. They joined in remembering his life and legacy.

From Carreta, they proceeded to Busay for the blessing of Capella del Amado, the hermitage house where Fr. Picx spent his final years. The ceremony was led by Fr. Bert Cepe, C.Ss.R., Superior of the Redemptorist Cebu Province. It was a quiet, meaningful moment in a place that held deep significance for Fr. Picx.

In the afternoon was the launching of this Book, The Beloved. It was a glimpse into the heart and soul Fr. Picx and his hopes and dreams put into writing. It was attended by family, friends and people whose lives were inspired by the life of Fr Picx.
